About us
What is the Agenda 2030?
The 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the common reference framework for all countries in their efforts to solve the great challenges of our time.
The name Agenda 2030 refers to the resolution “Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development“, which was unanimously adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 25 September 2015.
This resolution contains 17 sustainable development goals (SDGs) and 169 sub-goals.
The 2030 Agenda is characterised by the fact that it places an obligation on all countries and that it wants to reach particularly disadvantaged people (“leave no one behind”). The 17 SDGs are interlinked in many ways and must be considered and implemented as a whole.
As a reference framework, the 17 SDGs also serve to fill the concept of sustainability with concrete content.
The Platform Agenda 2030 is committed to the effective implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Switzerland and by Switzerland.
